Dr. Walter J Urban

Sixty Five Years To Go

I'm seventy five, and very alive
at seventy six, I'll learn new tricks
seventy seven, not ready for heaven
seventy eight, no pearly gate
seventy nine, I'll be fine
at eighty, I'll meet a lady
eighty one, I'll have fun
eighty two, more push ups than you
eighty three, can still climb a tree
at eighty four, I'll do more
at eight five, I'll still talk jive
at eighty six, even better tricks
at eighty seven and eight, still looking for a new mate
at eighty nine, toasting her with wine
ninety, ninety one and two, far from through
ninety four, five and six, my teeth I'll have to fix
ninety seven, eight and nine, on raw food I'll dine
at a hundred and hundred and one, life has just begun
from a hundred two to ten, I'll still use my pen
at a hundred eleven to fifteen, I'm ready for my new queen
and at fifteen to twenty, I'll have more than plenty
from a hundred twenty one to thirty, I'll get down and dirty
only ten more years to go, at a hundred and forty I'll finish the show
sixty five years to go and I can still touch my toe!
